The complex was the country residence of a noble family from Casale Monferrato, then of nuns who, into one of the building wings, managed the kindergarten and the school for children from the village and from the area.

Since 2007 it is an art-hotel and it hosts a modern and contemporary art collection and, preserving its original functions of social and cultural gathering, into common and available for guests locations, it hosts exhibits and theme events on a scheduled season agenda, published and updated on our blog and Facebook page.

Also “AlbergaBici FIAB” suitable for cyclists and for everyone else, it’s a dwelling, dedicated to wellness and relax, so it has wide outdoor areas, which can offer guests customized solutions.

LOCANDA DELL’ARTE is a structure affiliated to “Italia Convention”, selected by “Residence d’epoca” (Old Residences)and “Stanza Italiane” (Italian Rooms) of Touring Club Italian and reviewed on the Michelin Guide, EcoTurismOnline and magazines, portals and specialized catalogues.

 DESCRIPTION

Solonghello is a characteristic country village in Monferrato, overlooking the UNESCO sites Sacred Mountain and Sanctuary of Crea and vineyards landscapes with its “infernot”.

The complex LOCANDA DELL’ARTE, which encloses a courtyard with a portico and a solarium and a bocce court, it’s surrounded by its own park with Italian style garden, English style grassland, rose garden, orchard and annexed to the estate, on the “bricco” (the top of the hill) with woods, vineyard and olive tree grove, with a path suitable for walks, running and MBK training.

The indoor swimming with disabled entrance is equipped with a swimming pool, hydro-massage, sauna, Turkish bath, Finnish shower and relax tables. Its use is included in the stay charge and, for guests not staying in our resort, with customized “wellness days” or booked entrance with cards.

Usable by guests for private and business events are a living room with fireplace and glass walls, with a terrace and a multi-purpose hall, obtained in the ancient cellars.

For banquets and events, a reception hall is available with a covered veranda, sheltered by waterproof curtains and with air conditioning system.

The inner restaurant, the MARKO managed by chef Marco Casalini, is open to the public, at midday and for dinner every day, except for Mondays (only on reservation tel. 0142 944 549).

Guests are accommodated in our resort into 15 rooms with independent bathrooms, air conditioned and equipped with telephone and cable and wireless internet connection, safe-deposit box, mini-bar and kettle, some of them with kitchenette or kitchen.

Unique rooms and mini-apartments, each of them with different size and architecture and with different furniture, suitable for singles, couples, families and groups needs, “customized” stays, room and board, B&B or residence.
